In GTA 4,you can get friends as story passes.They are very useful in certain conditions(without you play cheats). Here are the names of your friends and their ability:
Roman:He provides you with a free taxi to your location(60% friendship)
Packie:He provides you car bomb at a location near to you.(75% friendship)
Dwayne:He provides you backup 2 man army to your location(60% friendship)
Little Jacob:He has alot of guns hidden in his car and drives it to a location near you and buy it with discount(75% friendship)
Brucie:He send you a heli to any building near to you and brings you to your destination around the city(75% friendship)
